2 ½ hours of an accompanied walk to the Berber Souk

Discover the everyday life of Moroccans in the Medina of Inesgane, with a souk for hawkers (of fruit, flowers, fish but also of many spices). Moroccan handicraft is also to be seen: There, you will find all the souvenirs and small gifts to take home at lower prices than in Agadir ... slippers, jewellery, djellaba ...

Immouzer is at an altitude of 1250m at the foot of the High Atlas. It is a very interesting trip to make, close to Agadir.
The road crosses barren hills, lush oases concurrently ... It follows the river bed invaded by oleanders and also offers lovely views over the surrounding valley and mountains. Stop in Paradise Valley ... And take a walk to the Waterfalls: Beautiful undergrowth leading to a waterfall called " Voile de la Mariée (Bridal Veil)”….

170 km from Agadir, Essaouira la Blanche is an old city with beautifully preserved walls, nestled on an almost rocky island. The port remains one of the liveliest spots in the city with its traditional shipyards and fishermen stringing their nets. Later, head to the old Medina, its former Jewish district called   “Mellah”, its dark alleys and traditional architecture… Also visit the Skala of the Port: discover this former battery, with its elevated platform and protected by a crenellated wall facing the  ocean where a dozen bronze cannons are aligned, and which ends with a signal tower where the view is remarkable on the fishing port, the city and the  Purpuraires islands…

Taroudant, known as Little Marrakech, is located 80 km from Agadir. The picturesque town is protected by 8 km of ochre-coloured walls. We will get there through the palm grove of Tiout to discover the Kasbah and its oasis of 20,000 palms and date palms. This is where Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves with Fernandel was filmed in 1952.  On foot or on a donkey, a walk in this palm grove is a must! Lunch can be taken at the Kasbah, which offers a magnificent view of the High Atlas, and then you head for the interior of the Taroudant. A visit to the Medina, with its spices, its pottery and handicrafts is planned. There, you will also discover the gardens, walls, minarets, and adobe mosques. Then we will visit the handicraft tanneries before returning.

Exceptional site located at an altitude of 1200 metres, Tafraout is the centre for slippers, but also a barrier of pink granite in the most surprising shapes! 3km north, at Aguerd-Oudad, a wonderful walk awaits us up till the large rock called "Napoleon’s Hat”. The village is nestled at the foot of this balanced rock. Further on, in a desert area, other rocks were painted by a Belgian artist in 1985: 19 tons of water-based paint were needed, and the result is a must see! We will return through the Col Kerdous, then through Tiznit, centre of silver jewellery, surrounded by 5 km of walls built in the XVIIIth century.

Departure from Agadir, towards Inesgane, then Ait Meloul. Once the 30 km mark has been reached, we will take a track that winds along the sea and will take us to Ksar Massa. Walk on the Beach, lunch at Ksar Massa facing the sea, nap and return to Agadir not forgetting to make a stop at the potter's!
